Guys, I don’t think we can count on jobs in the traditional sense.

Companies are always looking for edges. How to increase revenue, be more efficient, generate more profits.

AI, automation, and robotics are solutions to the MOST expensive part of running a business.

People.

People are expensive.

People are complicated.

A typical business will spend 60% of it’s revenue on it’s people.

Companies are going to continually look to implement AI and automation to reduce expenses.

They need to.

If a business doesn’t innovate it won’t keep up with competitors.

You need to think the same way.

I personally have 4 main streams of income.

  • CMO for Saas / education company

  • Content production services

  • Marketing / Media Consulting

  • Youtube / AI Update

If my main source of income fails, I can transition to another source.

Start building your side project, learn new skills, create new streams of income.

The world is going to move very, very fast over the next couple years.

QUESTION: If you lost your primary source of income, what is your next move

Anthropic Drops $50B And Builds 3,200 Jobs

Anthropic just committed $50B to build new AI data centers in Texas and New York. The company expects about 800 permanent roles plus about 2,400 construction jobs tied directly to the new sites.

These facilities need electricians, cooling techs, security teams, network operators, site engineers and hands on staff who can maintain physical AI infrastructure.

This is where the real long term hiring sits. Software runs on hardware and hardware demands strong men who know how to build and maintain high power environments.

The Update:

AI Datacenters are popping up all over the United States. While they do create jobs in the short term, will there be long term growth and opportunity?

Proponents see new jobs, but will they fade quickly or be replaced by machines?

Either way, hundreds of BILLIONS of capex funding is going into data centers. Understanding how these systems operate will certainly be a valuable skillset over the next decade.

PROMPT AWARENESS

Tonight, paste your full job description and your last three performance reviews into ChatGPT and write this:

PROMPT: “Act as my direct career coach. Identify every task AI can automate by 50 percent within 3 years. Identify the tasks that remain human because they require judgment or leadership. Recommend 3 roles I can transition into that use my background plus AI. Build a 12 week training plan so I can begin immediately.”

Print it. Follow it. Adjust weekly.

Synopsys Cuts 2,800 Jobs To Fund AI Push

Synopsys filed plans to eliminate about 2,800 roles after a $35B acquisition. These cuts fall across engineering, IT, legal, finance and management as the company redirects cash toward higher growth AI initiatives.

Severance and site exits alone run between $300M and $350M. No tech job is safe if the value you produce no longer matches the direction of the company. If you serve the legacy side, you get viewed as cost.

If you support the AI side, you get viewed as investment. It really is that simple.

The Update:

United States companies announced over 153,000 job cuts in October, the highest October level in about 20 years. Many cited AI adoption as a contributing factor.

This is your warning shot.

Consider roles that create AI revenue, support AI infrastructure or protect AI systems.

Staying in generalist roles invites risk you cannot afford.

Legal AI Funding Surges To $750M

Investors just poured over $750M into AI legal technology. GC AI raised $60M at a $555M valuation, serving brands like News Corp and Skims. Clio raised $500M linked to a $1B acquisition. Several other AI driven legal startups secured rounds across Europe and the United States.

Tools now draft documents, analyze contracts and support in house counsel at speeds that destroy old workflows. Junior associates and paralegals face shrinking opportunity.

Entire departments that once relied on long manual hours can now be handled by small human teams supported by powerful AI systems.

The Update:

Legal tech job boards already show strong demand for people who understand both law and AI.

Study AI assisted contract review, discovery tools, indexing systems and workflow design.

Become the man who runs the systems instead of the man the systems replace.

Holiday Hiring Falls To 16 Year Low Nationwide

The National Retail Federation expects only 265,000 to 365,000 holiday hires this year, down from about 442,000 last year.

Interest in seasonal roles rose sharply at the same time, creating tougher competition for fewer jobs. Automation and AI helped retailers depend on existing staff instead of hiring new workers.

Seasonal work used to stabilize a household budget. That era is closing. Warehouse roles, stocking, customer support and fulfillment all lean on AI tools that increase output without expanding headcount.

The Update:

While temporary work is necessary, it’s not enough to rely on.

Now is an important time to build side income streams. Learn skills that generate value instead of just punching the time clock.

Voice AI Goes Mainstream in 2025

Human-like voice agents are moving from pilot to production. In Deepgram’s 2025 State of Voice AI Report, created with Opus Research, we surveyed 400 senior leaders across North America - many from $100M+ enterprises - to map what’s real and what’s next.

The data is clear:

  • 97% already use voice technology; 84% plan to increase budgets this year.

  • 80% still rely on traditional voice agents.

  • Only 21% are very satisfied.

  • Customer service tops the list of near-term wins, from task automation to order taking.

See where you stand against your peers, learn what separates leaders from laggards, and get practical guidance for deploying human-like agents in 2025.
