Going out and making time to cultivate relationships, well, that takes work.
But guys, investing in relationships is huge in the AI age.
Business leaders are scaling by solving mathematical problems.
Leads, conversions, CAC, LTV.
AI is very, very good at beating humans here.
but…
AI sucks at human relationships.
That’s our advantage.

Microsoft Flags 40 Jobs
Microsoft researchers published an internal analysis identifying 40 job roles with high overlap between everyday work tasks and current AI capabilities.
The roles include writing focused positions, customer support, sales outreach, translation, scheduling, and administrative coordination.
The research is based on observed enterprise use of generative AI tools and compares AI generated output with work typically accepted inside these roles today.
Microsoft defines exposure as similarity between AI output and human task delivery. This means that many recurring activities inside these jobs already meet company standards when produced by software.

Microsoft is showing that routine output inside many roles already meets expectations when produced by AI.
This creates pressure for people whose work mainly involves producing drafts, summaries, or basic deliverables.
To respond:
Pick one recurring task from your role such as a report, summary, or email draft.

Add a short paragraph that explains what the output means, what decision it supports, or what should happen next.
Deliver the combined version as your normal output.
AI Leaders Confirm Hiring Slows

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei
The CEOs of DeepMind and Anthropic said publicly that AI systems already reduce hiring inside their organizations, especially for junior and early career roles.
They explained that AI now completes work that previously filled junior schedules, including summaries, internal research, and first pass analysis.
As a result, fewer roles exist where time is spent learning through repetition. Teams now expect new hires to contribute to outcomes sooner.
