US College Graduates Make 25.3% Of All Unemployed Americans
Fresh data shows that Americans with four year degrees now make up 25.3 percent of all unemployed workers.
More than 1.9 million degree holders aged 25 and older are without work. Unemployment among young adults aged 20 to 24 climbed to 9.2 percent, the highest level since mid 2021.
This destroys the idea that a degree guarantees safety.
Office roles and clerical work continue to shrink as companies try to cut cost and adopt tools that replace predictable tasks.
