“AI is a Scam”
This is a phrase I’ve heard uttered a lot over the past month.
On the one hand, there are companies slapping “AI” onto their offer, when they just use Open AI’s API in their software.
Sure, marketers will say, “if you don’t train with their AI program you’ll never work again.”
Yes, people have been burned by NFTs and the internet bubble.
But look guys…
AI is for real.
I’ve tasted it. I use it. I’ve spoken with hundreds of people watching the tools transform their business and industry.
AI IS FOR REAL.
This week, I recorded a video, and got MANY angry replies.
I’m not deterred. When you know the truth, you don’t stop shouting because it makes people upset.
If anything, it’s the time to double down.
I tell my daughter regularly “you can’t have courage without fear”.
I think AI creates massive issues, and I understand people are afraid.
but pretending it’s not a problem is not the way.
Be courageous, learn new skills, innovate in your organization, keep testing, have more equity in multiple projects.
Your family will thank you for the effort.
See you in the winners circle boys.
U.S. Rep. Greg Casar introduced a bill to prohibit companies from deploying AI tools that dynamically raise consumer prices.
The proposed law targets real‑time AI price adjustments, aiming to protect everyday shoppers from unexpected spikes and to preserve fairness, potentially reshaping how grocers and retailers use AI for pricing.
Is this a necessary consumer protection or will this stifle AI pricing innovation that could increase efficiency for companies and decrease costs overall?
Walmart rolled out four AI “super agents” for customers, employees, suppliers, and developers, aiming to drive online sales to half of its $648 billion annual revenue within five years.
These agents streamline tasks from personalized shopping to inventory checks, creating high‑value AI oversight roles even as some routine jobs evolve or shrink.
