Dear Reader,

If you’re like me, then I am sure you get a lot of news from X.

It’s easily the best way to have your pulse on celebrities, news, tech, and, of course, AI.

Several months ago, a big story caught the attention of the X world.

Taylor Swift was promoting Le Creuset Cookware.

But I am not here to tell you to look at an old story.

I am writing to you because the obscure world of deepfake technology just became mainstream.

And it’s because one of the top tech companies in the world has decided to make it accessible to all.

So can you guess who it is?

It’s none other than Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta.

Though not one of the top 3 (Microsoft, OpenAI, and Google), Meta is silently making investments and making waves in the AI world.

And because I don’t just want you to be overwhelmed by AI, I want you to tell you what it is.

So what is it?

It’s called AudioBox, and even if you knew about it (its release date was several months ago), I want to tell you here and now how to use it…

Because what it does is simply amazing.

It can replicate a person’s voice, including their pitch, rhythm, and unique pronunciation…

And though this tool opens up an array of bad actors to make deepfakes, like Taylor Swift’s cookingware video….

it has enormous implications for our communication dilemmas…

From saving hours on creating voiceovers (for an average podcast bro like me) to enhanced improvements in expression for people with speech impairments and disabilities.

So maybe it has become easier for people now to create deepfakes…

But it also can help us in a gigantic way.

As Spiderman says, though, with great power comes great responsibility…

This is why I also want to tell you about something else: The ELVIS Act.

So what is the ELVIS act?

You see, the rise of AI is worrying for musicians and people in the music industry because it can potentially misuse their music, image, and voice.

To address this, the ELVIS Act was introduced.

This law gives artists rights over how their name, image, likeness, and voice are used by AI or in any media, like songs, documentaries, movies, books, and social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

In addition, for those who break it, it carries penalties of up to 11 months, 29 days in jail, and/or fines up to $2,500.

So now that you know what not to do, let me tell you what to do, to take advantage of this extraordinary technology.

So first off, using AudioBox is easy…

And, no they aren’t paying me to say that, I am just passionate about what it can do for you.

So, please follow the steps here and see it yourself.

#1. Visit AudioBox Demo and Scroll

#2. Click “Record your voice.”

#3. Read a prompt and upload your vocals.

#4. Type text to generate recordings in your voice style.

It’s that easy.

If you even want to send me your recordings, feel free. I’d love to check them out.

Until next time.

Yours truly,

Mark Savant & The AI Media Team

Apple Vision Pro

A few years ago, Zuckerberg announced he was changing the name of his company to Meta.

People laughed and mocked him.

What did I do? I bought some Virtual Reality goggles and started to experience the new future.

Look, VR isn’t necessarily ready for big time just yet, but Augmented Reality is making HUGE waves.

The Apple Vision Pro is really impressive.

If I had this gadget when I was a kid, I would never have left the house.
